Pankaj Parikh briefed today’s program which was kicked off with half an hour colorful video of Varghodo taped in Nagpur, India, with Barat and Band music showing non-stop dancing by local people impersonating 13 Golden Jubilee men, sponsors, EC members wearing masks (Mahora). The bridegroom, Chandrakant Shah (mimicked), gracefully rode a gorgeous white horse. Sachin, Surabhi and Dr. Manoj Salpekar were congratulated for organizing and making a spectacular and impressive video of the Barat.

Mr. Jayesh Bhatt, who serves religious functions for the Indian community for over 22 years, conducted a  30-minute traditional wedding of Chandrakant & Renuka in a colorful ceremony at a well-decorated Mandap in the couple’s house. Simultaneously, the 13 couples performed the ceremony in their homes.

Thereafter, a beautiful PowerPoint presentation of sponsors, co-sponsors and donors was displayed.

(ii) Sachin & Surabhi’s Pranay Gatha (Love story):

The progression of Sachin & Surabhi’s love story in the form of Bollywood songs was presented in an amazingly thoughtful manner which kept the viewers glued to their seats. About a dozen and a half songs covered the story from the inception of love, its advancement, hurdles on the way, and finally the wedding!

Please note the sequence of the songs to follow the love story:
Mere Sapno Ki Rani Kab Aayegi Tu, Ye Sama, Sama hai Pyaar Ka Kisi Ke Intjaar Ka, Ek Ajnabi Hasina Se Yu Mulakat Ho Gayi Phir Kya HuaYeh Na Puchho, Unse Mili Nazar Ke Mere Hosh Ud Gaye, Mere Dil men Aaj Kya Hai tu Kahe To Main Batta Du, Kahna Hai Kahna Hai Aaj Tumse Pahli Baar, Phool Tumhe  Bheja Hai Khat Mein Phool Nahi Mera Dil Hai, Jab Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Pyar Karne Wale Kabhi Darte Nahin, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Maye Ni Maye Munder Pe TeriBol Raha Hain Kaaga, Jo Wada Kiya Woh Nibhana Padega, Tuzhe Jiwan Ki Dor Se Baandh Liya Hai, Joote De Do Paise Le Lo, Aaj Hamare Dil Mein Ajab Ye Ulajhan Hai, Tare Hain Baaraati Chandani Hai Ye Baaraat, Wah Wah Ramji Jodi Kya BanaayiBhaiya Aur Bhabhi Ko, and capping with Babul Ki Duayen Leti Ja.
